Corrections

A supported correction changes the page, its evidence record and its meaningful review date together.

What we correct

Material issues include an incorrect planting range, a source used outside its geographic scope, a missing method distinction, a broken source link or wording that implies more certainty than the evidence supports.

How a correction is handled

  1. Trace the reported claim to the cited source and evidence location.
  2. Check whether another applicable source or crop exception changes the answer.
  3. Update the public guidance, source record and review date when the correction is material.
  4. Repeat horticultural review when the recommendation changes.
