About Garden Tempo

What we publish

Garden Tempo currently covers 15 vegetables and fruits in Georgia and 15 in Texas. Georgia guides separate the published Middle Georgia baseline from supported regional conditions. Texas guides start with local frost dates and use Texas Gardening Regions I–V where crop-specific regional dates are published.

How the work is made

Garden Tempo is an independent project. Georgia guides use University of Georgia Cooperative Extension publications as their main factual sources. Texas guides use Texas A&M AgriLife Extension publications. We write an original answer, map important claims back to the applicable publication and show source links on the page.

Garden Tempo is not affiliated with or endorsed by either university.

Review status

The Georgia collection has passed owner review and is published. The Texas collection has passed owner review for closed preview. Independent horticultural review has not yet been completed for either collection.
